YotaPhone 3 with E-Ink back screen latest smartphone from Russian manufacturer Yota, The YotaPhone 3 was announced at a press event in Beijing and shortly afterwards, some of the details were posted on its VK profile. Also known as Yota 3, this is a unique smartphone series as it comes with an AMOLED 5.5-inch Full HD display on the front, but also features a 5.2 inch E-Ink or Ink Electronics in the back. Although we do not yet know all the features offered by this peculiar secondary electronic ink display, we do know that it integrates a total of three capacitive buttons. In addition, in China, the Yotaphone 3 will reach the users with several applications of series dedicated to the reading, as well as a library of electronic books as much modern as classic. And it seems that this use as a book reader will play an essential role in the way you use that E-Ink rear screen, as you would expect.
The rear electronic ink screen is the most outstanding aspect of the new Yotaphone 3 because, apart from it, there is nothing especially remarkable in the rest of the specifications. Inside it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage space, depending on the model you choose, 3,300 mAh battery, USB-C connectivity, fingerprint reader and Android 7.1 .1 Nougat as an operating system.
